Ms V.C.C. (Valerie) Luijten joined Luijten Advocaten as a lawyer in August 2009. With excellent study results at Maastricht University, she enthusiastically started her third generation at Luijten Advocaten. Besides being legally strong, Valerie is also very socially-minded, which is particularly useful in family and inheritance law matters. She is an officially recognised specialist in the field of personal and family law and inheritance law and is also a mediator. Valerie is a member of the Dutch Association of Family and Inheritance Lawyers Divorce Mediators (vFAS).

Valerie has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

• Inheritance law
• Law of persons and family law (divorce, maintenance cases, access arrangements, child protection law, mediation, parenthood and recognition)

Pursuant to this registration, she is obliged to obtain 10 training points in each registered main area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
